Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 01, 2018 at 2:00pm, at Collier-Butler Chapel.
Rev. Buddy O’Bryant will officiate.
Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Attalla, Alabama.
Mrs. Keener was a lifelong resident of Etowah County, Alabama and was of the Baptist faith.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Keener; son Jerry Wayne Keener; grandsons, Bobby Keener, Jackie Keener, and Timothy Keener; Daughter-in-law, Vera Keener; son-in-law, Robert Townes; daughter-in-law, Angie Keener; Mother, Carry and step-father Barney Shaneyfelt; numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include children, Larry Keener, Connie Townes, Tim (Dianette) Keener, and Michael Keener;
Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Robert Townes, Cody Townes, Timothy Keener, Chris Keener, Michael Keener, and Tommy Keener.
Honorary pallbearers will be great grandsons.
The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday evening 6-8pm at the funeral home.
