Hoyt Lee Fugatt

Hoyt Lee Fugatt, 79, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, with Keith Screws officiating. All services will take place at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Fugatt was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by many. He loved his family greatly. He was a very hardworking man and worked as a truck driver for many years. Most of his trucking friends knew him by his CB handle, “Backbumper.” He always enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He gave his life to Jesus in a prayer he shared with his beloved daughter, Christy Clotfelter.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Fugatt, of 47 years of marriage; his father, Thomas Fugatt; his mother, Mozelle Fugatt; and his brother, David Fugatt.

He is survived by his children: Lisa (Chris) Borden, Bobby (Linda) Fugatt, and Christy (Terry) Clotfelter; Granddaughters: Misti (Ben) Ragan, Marissa Amberson, Tiffany (Caleb) Carpenter; Grandson: Justin (Krista) Fugatt; And 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Terry Clotfelter, Chris Borden, Justin Fugatt, Ben Ragan, Frankie Stone, and Bobby Fugatt.
