Jackie Lee Hicks

Jackie lived a life filled with creativity, curiosity, and love. She enjoyed crafting of all kinds and treasured her time spent playing trivia with her beloved “Rat Pack.” Her warm spirit, sense of humor, and generous heart made her a joy to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Teria Grey Payne and Herbert H. Payne; her sisters, Wanda Gail Payne and Bonnie Payne Holland; and her brother, Rex Alton Payne.

Jackie is survived by her brother, Max Payne, and by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly: Jackson Holland, Josh Holland, Justin Holland, Jess Turner, Trica Moorehead, Jonah Holland, Kitty Payne, Katy Holland, Cody Holland, Justice Payne, Zack Payne, and Seth Turner.

The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to the CCU team at Riverview Regional Medical Center for the compassion and care they provided during Jackie’s final days.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
