Funeral service will be at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Dr. James Lawrence Graham, of Gadsden, who passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. Rev. Bruce Word will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Dr. Graham was educated at Louisiana State University for undergraduate and medical school. Dr. Graham enjoyed working on cars and was an avid woodworker. He was a beloved husband and devoted father.
Dr. Graham was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Graham; father, James W. Graham; mother-in-law, Sue Fells; son, Dr. Phillip Graham; father-in-law, Joe Fells; brother, R.W. “Buzz” Graham; and sister-in-law, Carol Graham.
Dr. Graham is survived by his spouse, Peggy Graham, daughter, Louise Spicher; son, Mark Graham; daughter, Lynn Smith; daughter, Jennifer Miner; son, Joseph Graham; grandson; Joey Lambert; granddaughter, Baileigh Carville; grandson, Jonathan Lambert; grandson, Markus Graham; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Graham; granddaughter, Heather Miner; grandson, Lance Miner; granddaughter, Allyson Miner; granddaughter, Faith Miner; 3 great-grandchildren and Sister In Law Jeanne Eakes.
Pallbearers will be Mark Graham (son), Joseph Graham (son), Markus Graham (grandson), Joey Lambert (grandson), Jonathan Lambert (grandson), Ron Eakes, Denny Spicher, and David Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Randall Lipscomb, Dr. Wayne Kelly and Steve Ashley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Oak Ranch.
