Jerry Leroy Perry

A visitation for Jerry will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, Alabama 35901 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am with Rev. Bobby Bryant and Rev. Mike Aldridge officiating.

He will be laid to rest at Rainbow Memorial Gardens, 1440 W Grand Avenue, Gadsden, AL 3904.

Jerry married Joann Wood Perry . His life was centered around caring for his family. Their marriage was blessed with three loving daughters who were his pride and joy. He was a selfless, giving soul who had a huge heart. He cared deeply for his entire family and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by is loving wife of 67 years and beloved daughter, Debra Perry.

Survivors in include his daughters, Tammy (Gary) Evans and Tina (Jay) Smith; grandchildren, Brittaney (Josh) Johnson, Ashley (Josh) Edwards, Zach (Kylie) Smith and Sam (Joycelyn) Evans; brother, Cecil (Marie) Perry; brother-in-law, Jerry Wood and sisters-in-law, Joy Sharp and Martha (Bobby) Bryant; 6 great grandchildren with another on the way and a number of loving nieces and nephews, as well as, lifelong friends, Louise, Eddie Guest and Mike and Church family at south Highland Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and sons-in-law.
