

Joanne Kenworthy was born in Corvallis, Oregon July 27, 1939, to Joseph & Peggy Kenworthy. She graduated high school in Roseburg, Oregon. On May 10, 1958, she married Donnie Allen Trowbridge. As a military then forest service family they lived in Oregon, Missouri, Germany, Idaho, Washington, Arizona, Tennessee and retired in Gadsden, AL.
Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Don Trowbridge, beloved daughter Ronda Carney, parents Joe & Peggy Kenworthy, sisters Joyce Plueard & Connie Jolin, brother Edward Kenworthy, and son-in-law, Bob Heberling.
She was a devoted mother to daughters Cheri Heberling of Lewiston, Idaho, Kim (Maurice) Weaver of Gadsden, AL, son Kelly (Susan) Trowbridge of Walland, TN. Her pride and great joy were her 11 grandchildren, Kristy (Shane) Phillips of Gadsden, AL, Jerrod (Lida) Weaver of Trussville, AL, Samantha (Adam) Koogler of McCall, Idaho, Ashley Konrad (Jim) of Lewiston, ID, April Heberling of Lewiston, ID, Sabrina Carney of Scottsdale, AZ, Chelsea Carney (Ed) of Buckeye, AZ, Callie Calvelage (Marco) of Tolleson, AZ, Clayton Calvelage (Ruby) of Mesa, AZ. Tyler Trowbridge (Katie) of Nashville, TN, Kayla Trowbridge of Maryville, TN. 8 great-grandchildren will never forget the love she brought to their lives, Eva & Audrey of Idaho, Sam, Drew & Jack of AL, Mason, Jackson & Brenna of AZ.
Joanne was a passionate gardener. She loved reading, crafting, & making homemade gifts for all and was an amazing baker and candy maker. She will be greatly missed by her Cobra Car family, her Thursday night dinner group, and her beloved card ladies. Joanne attended Church of the Highlands.
A visitation will be held at Collier-Butler Funeral Home, located at 824 Rainbow Drive, Gadsden, AL 35901, on December 12, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made in her name to Wounded Warriors Project.
Pallbearers will be Jerrod Weaver, Tyler Trowbridge, Clayton Calvelage, Shane Phillips, Marco Jaramillo & Jason Lowery.
A very special thank you to the doctors & nurses at Prisma/Blount Memorial Hospital Maryville, TN for their heroic care & compassion during her brief illness. We would also like to thank Dr. Wayne Kelley, Jordan Holder and staff of Coosa Family Care for their years of love and care.
