Joe DuPre Morgan Jr.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Collier-Butler Chapel. Rev. Mat Alexander will officiate.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe DuPre Morgan, Sr.. He is survived by his sister, Genie (Eddy) Cunningham; brother, Scott (Becki) Morgan; nieces, Eugenia Cunningham and Katie (Josh) Lynch; and nephew, Morgan (Kirkland Back) Cunningham. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Wilson; and Twantah Madison Morgan and Pauline Gaillot.

Joe was born March 14, 1950 in Gadsden, AL. He was a 1968 graduate of Gadsden High School. He worked in the retail industry his entire life, starting at Belk-Hudson when he was 16 years old and then at Pizitz Department Stores for several years after that. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Gadsden, and upon his return to Gadsden in recent years was active in the Haller Sunday School Class and the usher ministry.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Haller Sunday School Class and Mr. Cotton Mills.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
