Joel Edward Ellis, age 47, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Joel was born on January 7, 1976 in California. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The family will accept friends from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home on Saturday.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Trace Ellis; and grandparents, Roy Sr. and Guinevere Ellis.
Joel is survived by his best friend and wife, Katie Ellis; sons, Steven (Marley) Ellis, Nick Ellis, and Jacob Ellis; daughters, Rylee Ellis, Callie Stone, Kinslie Stone, and Kaia Golden; daughters and son-in-love, Nadia and Collette Leo Rios; brothers, Aaron (Susan) Ellis, Jason (Sara) Ellis; sister, Cassie (Josh) Reynolds; sister-in-law, Haley Anthony; mother, Kathy Ellis; father, David (Tammy) Ellis; and several nieces and nephews.
