Oh wow, just came across ,had no idea. Johnny was a dear friend , new him for many many years, Johnny played guitar and vocals over the years along side of Dickie Burrows ,bassist.    my dad and brother,,,,
 Ernie and David Crisp, at the Fuzzy Duck in Gadsden Alabama,and before then. . I'd invite friends to come listen to Jhonny McKee and Suzie Mccully. Those were some great great years .
Frist met John n1977-78
Spent some nights with Johnny n the early 80s and had a blast, with his guitar and voice he had the power to make me laugh ,cry ,or make me real still in side . Johnny, like another brother.
Saw him last in 2002 on the river n Gasden , then again around 2005-6  on Church TV n Panama City Fl.
 Never Cross my mind I'd never see him again , 
The one main thing Ive carried with me through the years ,, SETTING on the end of the dockJohnny had said to me talking about life one evening was,,,
Donnie Crisp,,, remember this !

Still have pics of Johnny from way back n the day like 40 years,but dont need them to remember Johnny, 
Johnny is part of me ,,,always n my heart. 
And for all who  new and loved Johnny,,
May the Angels bless your days and guard your nights,,
And that u and your always be led to the highest vision of each other .


We had some good times years ago at the Duck. You'll be greatly missed.

I will miss Johnny dearly.  I enjoyed writing, producing and publishing many songs and CD's with him.
