

Johnny M Bolton, age 76, of Southside, AL was born June 3, 1948, and passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was a longtime resident of Ashville, AL for over fifty years where he served thirty years as the Alfa Insurance agent before returning to his hometown of Southside.
Johnny was a loving husband of fifty-four years, a nurturing father, grandfather, son, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was the most considerate and loving person. He always put others before himself. He was the hardest working man and provided for his family and many others. He never met a stranger, and he loved to joke around and cut up. He was an avid Auburn fan. He loved to collect antique peddle cars and tractors.
He is preceded in death by his father, John W. Bolton; mother, Wilma J. Bolton; daughter, Regina Bolton; son, Steven Bolton; Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, and Father-In Law and Mother-in Law.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bolton; Daughters, Tina (Michael) Dorsett, Gina (Michael) Farley, Jessica (Nicholas) Freeman, Susan (Jacade) Reynolds; Son, James Bolton; Grandchildren, Colton and Chloe Hammond, Landon and Connor Farley, Olivia and Lucas Freeman, Sean and McKenzie Bolton, Isabella and Addison Reynolds, Paige Williams; Brother, Tommy Lowery; Special Niece, Krystal (Jason) McWhorter.

Visitation: Friday, September 20, 2024, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
Funeral: Saturday. September 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Collier-Butler Chapel followed by a graveside service at Gum Springs Baptist Church in Ashville, AL. Brother Joey Jones and Jeff Clevenger will officiate.
