Joyce Ross Graham

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at Collier Butler Chapel for Joyce Ross Graham, 84, who died December 29, 2015. Rev. Roger Graham will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Graham was a lifelong resident of Gadsden, a 1949 graduate of Gadsden High School, and retired from Gadsden Regional Medical Center (Baptist Memorial Hospital) after 26 years of service. She was a loving and cherished daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Graham was of great faith and was a member of North Gadsden Baptist Church where she was pianist in her younger years, and most recently a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Burton Ross and Edith Woodruff Ross; husband, Benjamin Buford Graham and son, Benny F. Graham.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam Graham Gowens and Tommy Gowens of Atlanta; granddaughters, Julie Graham Kochie (Andy) of Huntsville, AL, Meredith Gowens-Pelissier (Jeremy), and Allison Gowens, of Atlanta; Great-grandson, Alex Kochie; Great Granddaughters, Layla and Natalie Pelissier; and long-time family friend, Betty Hood Washburn.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.
