Kathy Lee Quinn Bridges

Kathy Lee Quinn Bridges passed away at home on August 26, 2024 of natural causes. She was 70 years old. Kathy was born in Gadsden and lived here all her life. She was a past member of East Gadsden Baptist Church.

She attended Wagner Elementary School, Litchfield Junior High, and graduated from Gadsden High School in 1972. After graduation she went to UAB Nursing school in Birmingham where she graduated with a degree in nursing. She came back to Gadsden to work at Gadsden Regional Hospital with several exceptional doctors and nurses. She took care of many patients that remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by parents, Freddie and Billie Ruth Quinn, both sets of grandparents, as well as most of her aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her only daughter Jamie Walden (Jim); her grandchildren: Emma Walden, Zoey Walden and Noah Walden; brother: Steve Quinn (Donna), and sister: Vicki Leak (Danny); nieces: Jennifer Webb (Patrick Cash), Laura Leak, Paige Cox(Josh) and Maddie Crandall (Ryan); great nieces and nephews: Dalton Cox, Colby Cox, Garrison Webb, Quinn Crandall and Camille Crandall. She is also survived by ex-husband Robin Bridges.

Collier-Butler Funeral Home is directing the cremation. A memorial service will be announced at future date.
