Keith A Collins

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30pm on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home Chapel for Keith Alexander Collins, age 54, of Gadsden, Alabama who went home to be with his family and Savior on Sunday, November 24, 2024. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral Home.

Keith was born on June 16, 1970, in Gadsden, Alabama. He was a 1988 graduate of Emma Sansom High School and a 1996 graduate of Jefferson State Community College. There, he received his degree in Funeral Service Education. Keith began his career in funeral service at Crestwood Funeral Home in 1988 and began employment at Collier-Butler Funeral Home on September 03, 1991, where he was still employed until his passing with 33 years of faithful service to our community. He enjoyed Southern Gospel music and was a very talented piano player.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Ollie Mae Brewer; grandparents, Bennie and Lillian Allen and D.H. and Lottie Collins; brothers, Randy Collins and Edward “Eddie” Brewer.

Survivors include, Michael Brickley; nephews, Austin (Johanna) Brewer, Waynesboro, N.C. and Brandon (Stacy) Collins, Piedmont, Alabama; nieces, Randa (Robert) Thompson, Glencoe, Alabama, Katlyn (Kevin) Chambers, Piedmont, Alabama and Lauren Brewer, Gadsden, Alabama; beloved great nephews, Beau and Archer Brewer, Krowley and Dexter Chambers; beloved great nieces, Katie Lynn, Sarah and Hailey Collins; sister-in-law, Karen Collins; chosen sister, Michelle Rogers, Jonesboro, Arkansas; chosen niece, Johnna Rogers, Jonesboro, Arkansas; special friends, Tinley (Sonny) Kirby, Paulette Chandler and Audrey Lovvorn, all of Gadsden, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Steve Diller, Brandon Collins, Austin Brewer, Jason Maise, David Fowler, Austin Hook and Dalton Williams.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Homer Entrekin, Phil Hill, all past and present employees of Collier-Butler Funeral Home and personal friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday evening, November 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
