
Memorial services will be at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Lewis “Andy” Goggans, 56, of Gadsden, who passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Goggans fought a long hard battle with cancer. He was Honorably discharged from the Marines and Air Force. He graduated from Jacksonville State University with BA and MA degrees and was an avid Coin Collector.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Levi “Red” Goggans.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen and his precious mother, Betty; his chosen daughter, Jessica (Justin) Brumblow; chosen son, Josh Shrum; grandchildren, Braydon & Trenton Brumblow, and Jacob & Caleb Shrum; brothers-in-law, Doug Bishop, and Jimmy Kelton; sisters-in-law, Kate Kelton and Carol Peppers; mother-in-law, Christine Bishop; aunt and uncle, Pat & Wilford Bishop; and cousins, Perry & Jerrie Brindley, George Eberhart, Milly Mitchell and Barbara Ledbetter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colon Cancer Research.
