Mrs. Louise Fortenberry

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Louise Brown Fortenberry, age 90, Gadsden, who went to be with her Lord, Friday, March 5, 2010. Bro. Larry Fuhrman will officiate, with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Services directing.

Mrs. Fortenberry was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Riverbend Baptist church and was truly loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered always for her love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Clyde Fortenberry; parents, Elmer and Emma Sue Brown; brothers, Bill (Geraldine) Brown, Charles Brown and R.L. “Juby” Brown.

She is survived by her son, Wayne (Karon) Fortenberry; grandchildren, Jason (Ashley) Fortenberry, Lance Fortenberry, Katie Fortenberry; great grandchildren, Dru and Macy Fortenberry; brothers, Roy Lee (Elaine) Brown, Alfred (Janet) Brown and Harold (Linda) Brown.

Special thanks to Dr. S.P. Sanchetti and staff and to Brenda, Teresa and staff of Almost Like Home.

Pallbearers will be Ray Clayton, Ronald Brown, Tony McGlaughn, Ryan McGlaughn and grandsons, Jason and Lance Fortenberry.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
