Funeral services will be 11:30am, Friday, September 5, 2014 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Markus “Mark” Allen Hunt, 31, of Southside, who passed away Sunday, August 31th, 2014. Blake Waddell will officiate. Burial will be at Forrest Cemetery. Visitation will be September 4, 2014 from 6-8:00pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Collier- Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Mark enjoyed golf, motorcycles, and life in general. He also loved to spend time with his wonderful nieces and nephews.
Mark Hunt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Nancy Hunt, Robert E. Turner, Mary Durham McAteer; and uncle, Philip Turner.
Survivors include his parents, J.T. Hunt Sr., Sharon and Marty Owen; children, Markus Allen Jr., Madison, Alexis, Kaiden; brothers, J.T. Hunt Jr. (Laura), Chris Hunt (Megan), Robby Hunt (Jill); grandmother, Ruth M. Turner; soul mate, Stephanie Shelton; cousin, Cody; and numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hunt, Robert Hunt, Cody Hunt, Marty Owen, Chaz Buchanan, and Adam Hunt. Honorary pallbearers are J.T. Hunt and Chris Hunt.
