

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Central Methodist Church for Mary Acker Molloy Cochran, 84, Rainbow City, who passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2015. The Rev. Sherri Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Mrs. Cochran was a native of Gadsden and a life-long, faithful member of Christ Central Church, where she served many years as secretary to the Board of Stewards. She worked 36 years for the federal government, retiring in 1997 after 36 years service with U.S. Representative Congressman Tom Bevill as manager of his Gadsden District Office. After retirement, she worked as a Hospice volunteer.
Mrs. Cochran was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bobby Lee Cochran; her parents, Robert Graves Molloy Sr. and Lena Duncan Molloy; her brother, Robert Graves Molloy Jr. and sister-in-law Gloria Sansom Molloy.
Left to cherish her memory, she is survived by daughters, Marilyn Joyce Cochran (Russell) Boutell, Martinez, California, and Leigh Anne Cochran (Marty) Reynolds, Hokes Bluff; grandchildren, Nicole Leigh Boutell (Jared) Kitchen, Natalie Molloy Boutell, Martinez; and Logan Lee Reynolds, Hokes Bluff; great-grandchildren, Dillon Russell Kitchen and Emma Louise Kitchen, Martinez; and many friends and family.
Special thanks to our devoted caregivers, who not only cared for Mary but also loved her: Patsy Sharpton, Arlie, Melanee, Jennifer, Roxie, Priscilla, Brittany, Laura ... we called them "Arlie's Angels." Also special thanks to Gentiva Home Health, Lawley Hospice, Gadsden Health Care & Rehab, Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Manna and Dr. Harper.
Pallbearers will be: Buford Bowers, Marty Reynolds, Logan Reynolds, Richard Reynolds, Dillon Boatwright, Taylor Boatwright, Judge Bill Rhea and John Minton.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Christ Central Church, 409 W. Grand Ave., Rainbow City, AL 35906 or to your favorite charity .
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church before the service.
