Born on January 6, 1949, Frankie was the son of the late Melvin Frank Leath Sr. and Betty Gunter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Leath, and his son, Kevin Shane.
Frankie is survived by his beloved grandchildren, Tessa Ann Leath and Trace Addison Leath, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Ford (Mike); his brother, Randy Gunter (Sydney); his nieces, Alex and Kimberly; and many other family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Frankie worked for the City of Gadsden and took pride in his work at Briarmead Golf Course, where he loved mowing the greens. Golf was both his pastime and passion, and he enjoyed every chance he had to play.
In keeping with Frankie's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. His life will be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
