Michael L. Canada, age 70, of Gadsden, AL passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services announcing.
Mike was a graduate of Jacksonville State University where he played football. He was a longtime general manager of Hughes Beverage in Attalla, AL. Mike enjoyed attending JSU football games and spending time with his grandchildren. He had the most engaging personality and never met a stranger. His infectious smile and laugh was recognizable to anyone. His love for life and his family was next to none.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Perry L. Canada and Billie Hollingsworth Canada.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathi Canada; his sons, Michael (Mary Kathryn) Canada, and Mark (Mary) Canada; grandchildren, Helen, Perry, Russell, and Kathleen Canada; sister, Susan Canada; and special family member, Larry Deason.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
