Mildred P Rogers

Funeral services will be 2:00 Friday, March 29, 2013 for Mildred L. Rogers, 77, of Gadsden, who passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Rev. Bruce Word will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Rogers loved to sew and was a wonderful seamstress. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Omie Johnson and her grandson, Jason Snyder.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, J. Harold Rogers; daughters, Phyllis (Tommy) Denson, and Melissa Gay (Frank) Wood; son, Keith (Kathy) Rogers; grandchildren: Holly (Tim) McGinnis, Heath (Wendy) Denson, Brad Rogers, and Justin Snyder; great-grandchildren: Tiffany McGinnis, Brittany McGinnis, Leah Lewis, and Trey Snyder; and sister, Betty (Harold) Cornutt.

Pallbearers will be: Heath Denson, Tim McGinnis, Brad Rogers, Justin Snyder, Trey Snyder, and Frank Wood.

Special thanks to Dr. Ralph Wesley, Alacare Hospice and nurses, the many special friends and church family at Crosspoint Community Church.

Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 prior to the service.
