

He was employed by the State of Georgia Department of Transportation as District Engineer. He retired in 1999, spent the remainder of his life doing what he loved most.
He was a man of integrity class, and never tired of taking care of and doing for his family at their home on Lake Neely, Henry.
He loved learning, researching, working hard, and caring for his family and home most he put his family first above everything else and never, ever complained.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Durwood and Elouise Fowler.
He is survived by his devoted wife and soulmate of 44 years and they were together, 48, Syble Fowler; his son, Bryan (Alyssa) Fowler, and daughter, Cristi Chauncey, his siblings, Ronald (Stacey) Fowler, and Janet (Larry) Housand and his grandchildren, Shawn (Michelle), Sam, Mac, Seth, and Gage.
The visitation will be from 12 to 2 PM central time on Sunday, April 2, 2023 and will be followed by his celebration of life at 2 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden, Alabama.
The pallbearers will be Bryan Fowler, Shawn Fowler, Samuel Whelchel, Mac Whelchel, Seth Fowler, Jeremy Reynolds, Taylor Reynolds.
