
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the New Life Baptist Church for Mrs. Nancy C. Cobble, 68, of Gadsden, who passed away Friday, June 1, 2012. The Rev. Tony McGowan will officiate with burial to follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Cobble will lie-in-state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, directing.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Gadsden and a member of New Life Baptist Church. Mrs. Cobble also had taught cosmetology at New World College. She was an avid Alabama fan, a Coca-Cola collector, and she loved magnolias.
Mrs. Cobble was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mattie Hutchins; brothers, Travis, Fred, and Donald Hutchins and great grandson, Brayden Rhodes.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Cobble; children, Karen Rhodes of Texas, Sharon Elkins of Gadsden, and Kelly (Fouad) Hassan of Texas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Fran Minshew of North Carolina, and Mona (Don) Rokusek of Texas; and brothers, Henry Eugene “Junebug” Colbert Hutchins of Tennessee, Greg (Jerri) Hutchins of Texas and Clark(Betty) Hutchins.
Pallbearers will be Kagen and Kalum Deal, Poo-Jigger, Greg Parham, Hesham Hassan, and Donald Hutchins.
Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services in Gadsden.
