Nancy J. Barron

Mrs. Nancy J. Barron, 90, of Gadsden, who passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Werdnesday, June 20, 2018 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Forrest Cemetery. Rev. Tony McGowan will officiate.

Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Mrs. Barron was a longtime resident of Etowah County and had retired from the Retail Clerks Union. She was a member of the Northeast Alabama Genelogical Society and was very involved in her family ancestory.

Mrs. Barron was an avid gardner, enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Tyler; Ray Barron and son, Bruce Tyler.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Gary) Wright; grandchildren, Phillip (Jackie P.) Wright; Becky (Joel) Weatherholtz and Christy (Michael) Humphrey; great grandchildren, Aubrey (Brittany) Wright; Leanna Wright; Bobby Wright (Kristy); Kimberly (Robert) Robison; Christopher Kozma; Holly (R.T.) Smith; Russell (Murphy) Corley; Taylor Wilson; Jake Weatherholtz; Sara Weatherholtz; Josh McElwaney; Tatum Payton and Phoebe Payton; great great granddaughter, Amelia Rose Wright; several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Gaylord Houk and Linda and Jerry Heard.

Pallbearers will be Leanna Wright; Holly Smith; Aubrey Wright; Bobby Wright; Russell Corley; Taylor Wilson; Phoebe Payton and Tatum Payton.

The family will receive friends from 11 am until the hour of service at the funeral home Wednesday.
