Peggy Joyce Lambert McDonald

Peggy Joyce Lambert McDonald, age 82, of Gadsden, Alabama went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Graveside service will be at 11 AM Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Crestwood Cemetery. Rev Jimmy Baily and Rev. Buddy O' Bryant will officiate. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.

Peggy was a faithful member of Reed Memorial Baptist Church. She retired from Gadsden Health Care & Rehabilitation after 25 years. She was a dedicated Christian and lived her life serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a wonderful wife, devoted mother, loving Nana, caring sister, and wonderful friend.

She loved to laugh, was spunky, bubbly, spontaneous in her love for having a good time. To know Peggy was to love her. She loved shopping with Reba, eating out with everyone, traveling, and always wanted to be with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Special memory to her grandchildren "Nana Loves you."

She is survived by her three sons whom she loved beyond measure: Orva (Miriam) McDonald, Jr., Mitchell (Cheri) McDonald, and Jamie (Pam) McDonald; grandchildren Meghan McDonald, Garrett (Kaycee) McDonald, Katelyn (Nathan) Bunn, Kyle (Kaleigh) McDonald, Kelli (Nick) Faulkner, Kristin (Mitchell) Hamby; Great Grandchildren Charlee Kate McDonald, Macy McDonald, Kallie Faulkner, Brantly Faulkner, Madison Hamby, Beau Hamby, and Mia Hamby; brother Donald (Elaine) Clement, Sister in law Betty McDonald; and many niece and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Orva Kyle McDonald, Sr.; parents Pete and Shirley Clement; father Curtis Lambert, brother Kenneth Clement; sister in law Cecelia Clement; brother in law Wayne McDonald; Mother and father in law Sula and Jasper McDonald; and grandson Jase Hamby.

Pallbearers will be Garrett McDonald, Kyle McDonald, Nathan Bunn, Mark Hayes, Richard Underwood, and Ken McBurnett.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Missionary Fund at Reed Memorial Baptist Church.
