Rachel Faye (Hill) Abel, age 81, of Attalla, AL passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Hokes Bluff Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Abel attended Walnut Grove School. She loved music, loved to garden, bowling, and watching the Auburn Tigers play football.
She was preceded in death by her parent, Jeffy and Margaret Hill; brothers, Bertis Walter and David Hill; sisters, Clara Skillman and Doris Hill; and sons, David and Scott Abel.
Ms. Abel is survived by her son, Michael Abel.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Stephens, Mike Stephens, Brandon McCarver, and John Gillney.
