

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Reba Jean Smith Oden, 73, Gadsden who went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 30, 2012. Rev. Van Lockridge and Rev. Philip Elliott will officiate with burial at Noble Hill Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Reba was a native and longtime resident of Etowah County. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church and was retired from Jacks in Alabama City as breakfast manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wesley Smith, Sr. and Winnie Cora Smith, daughter, Wanda Oden Barb, sister, Carolyn Camp and brother, Charles Wesley Smith, Jr.
Survivors include her son, Wendell Oden and wife Kim, grandchildren; LeeAnn Naugher and husband Glen, Lindsey Walsh and husband Bruce, Natalie Humphrey and husband, Kevin, Randi Bellew and Hunter Bellew; great grandchildren, Mitchell and Madeline Naugher, Allie Grace Humphrey, Liam Walsh, Lily Kate Humphrey, sisters, Liz Parkerson and Ola Mae McClendon, a host of nieces and nephews, special lifetime friends, Frances Anderson, Mae Reynolds and special friends at Daugette Towers.
Pallbearers will be; Glen Naugher, Bruce Walsh, Kevin Humphrey, Charlie Smith, Kevin Parkerson and Hunter Bellew.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the Reba Oden memorial fund at Winsouth Credit Union, 320 Albert Rains Blvd, Gadsden, AL 35903 or any other branch office.
The family extends special thanks to the E.R., SICU and 8th floor staff at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Dr. Kenny Smith and the 4th Wing Staff at Gadsden Health and Rehab.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Collier-Butler.
