

Rebecca was a devoted mother who centered her entire life around her three children. She was a loving daughter and best friend to her mom, sharing a bond filled with unwavering love, trust, and joy. Her loyal spirit, kind heart, and bright smile touched everyone blessed to know her.
She was a die-hearted Auburn football fan, always cheering on the Tigers with enthusiasm. Rebecca was a graduate of Guntersville High School Class of 2005. Professionally, Rebecca was a dedicated healthcare worker. She earned her RN from Gadsden State and served as a registered nurse, caring for her patients with compassion, strength, and a commitment to helping others.
Rebecca is survived by her children, Madison Grizzard, Jeremy Harris III “Ray”, and Amari Harris; her mother, Sharon Berry Hendrix; the loving father of her children, Jeremy Harris II; her siblings; Stacy and Cindy Buchanan, Ray and Lisa Hendrix, Jeremy and Holly Amos, Gary and Judy Sullivan, and Wayne and Jan Hendrix; sister-in-law, Sherri Abney; aunt, Virginia Fail; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and chosen family, the Neely family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Randall “Ray” Hendrix, and her brothers, Brian Abney and Randy Hendrix.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

A funeral service to honor Rebecca’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jeff Mathis and Bro. Phillip Mathis will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
