Ronald Keith Smith

Keith served in the aviation field as a mechanic for 40+ years. He was currently employed with Snead State Community College as an Instructor of his craft. Keith had many loving friends both local and all over the world who he considered family. Those who knew him best referred to him as "Rattler". He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, sister, family and friends.

Keith leaves behind to celebrate his life a wife of 37 years, Robbin Smith; son, Matthew Smith (Alyssa)' daughter, Kealia Pickard (Justin); sister, Teresa Smith Nunn; Brother-in-law, Larry Williamson; grandchildren, Kreed Clayton, Finn Pickard, Oliver Pickard, Aurora Smith; nephews, Jacob Burton, Lance Williamson, Dean Hakim, Terry Gladden, Jr.; nieces, Hayley Lane, Rana Davis, Katie Flanagan.

In addition to his parents, Keith is preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Smith Duke, grandparents, Will and Myrtle Smith; Herman Horace and Carrie Lou Whorton; in-laws, Lawrence and Marie Williamson; sister-in-law, Delvia Gentry.

A visitation for Keith will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Hughes Morgane Cemetery.

Pallbearers assisting Mr. Smith to his final resting place will include: Jacob Burton, Art Watford, Lance Williamson, Miller Clayton, Justin Pickard, Dean Hakim. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank McCloud, Derrick Boling, Students and Faculty of Snead State Community College.
