Teresa Beck Hampton

Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday-September 1, 2010 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Teresa Beck Hampton, age 55 of Gadsden who passed away Monday-August 30, 2010. Rev. David Adcock will officiate with burial at Union Cemetery, Boaz, AL. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing. Ms. Hampton was a native and longtime resident of Etowah County and a 1973 graduate of Gadsden High School. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son, Wesley David Vaughn, mother, Mary Baker Raines, father and step mother, Jewel and Rosa Lee Beck, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny B. Baker and Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Beck. She is survived by her daughter, Lacey Duke, Granddaughter, Madaline Duke, Sisters, Kay Beck (Johnny) Thrasher, Huntsville, Judy Hamme, Marilyn Raines, Brenda (Glenn) Gurley, all of Gadsden and Peggy (Charles) McClendon, Fyffe, Brother, Joel (Janice) Owen, Verbena, Special sister-in-law, Carolyn Garrison, Boaz, special children, Blake, Leah and Monica, She was loved by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Riverview Wound Care Hyperbaric Center and Riverview Hospital CCU Staff. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
