Timothy John Wise Sr.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Timothy “T.J.” Wise, Sr., 49, Gadsden who passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013. Jim Hefner and Rev. Danny Battles will officiate with burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Mr. Wise was a native and longtime resident of Gadsden and was a member of Word of Life Church. T.J. was an outgoing, fun and loving person. He was a pleasure to be around and to know him was to love him. He was an avid knife collector and enjoyed being on the go. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Wise, sister, Karen Bowen and brother, Billy Wise, Jr.

He is survived by his father, Rev. Billy Wise, Sr., wife, Kim Kilpatrick, mother of his children, Trena Wise, children, Timothy (Trissa) Wise, Jr., Blake Wise and Jena Wise, special friend, J.C. Lumpkin, grandchildren, Dalton, Haven, Jamison, Kylie, Ethan, Sean and Emery, nieces and nephews, Stacy (Jason) Andrews, Jennifer (Omar) Villanueva, Shane (Anna) Wise, Derick Bowen, Hannah Karen and Shianne Dingler, Lacy and Lilly Wise, Andrew and Jacob Wise.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Kelly, Darryl Roden, Bill Barron, Carl Waldrop, Marion Wise, and Jason Andrews.

The family extends special thanks to Minyon Crain, Stacy Andrews, Jennifer Villanueva, Shianne Dingler , staff of Gentiva Hospice and all other family members and friends that were there for us in our time of need.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
