Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday-June 24, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Wayne Gramling, age 74 of Rainbow City who passed away Tuesday-June 21, 2011. Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Mr. Gramling was a native and longtime resident of Etowah County and a member of East Gadsden Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Masons. Mr. Gramling was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Watson and Clara Mae Gramling.
Survivors include his sons; David Gramling, Rainbow City and Phillip Gramling, Gadsden, two grandchildren; Justin and Jordan Gramling. Special long time friend; Ann Alford
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to East Gadsden Baptist Church, 211 6th Street North, Gadsden, AL 35903
Pallbearers will be; Chris Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Cecil Silvey, Lauil Thompson, Nick Gramling and Justin Gramling
Honorary Pallbearers will be; Babe Silvey and James Hester.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
