

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Willow Jo Crawford Cameron, age 85, of Gadsden, who passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017. Rev. John Dickinson will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Cameron was born January 29, 1932 in Sand Rock, AL. She lived most of her life in Gadsden, graduating from Emma Sansom High School in 1951. She was a member of East Gadsden Baptist Church for 59 years and a member of Sandra White’s Gleamers Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Women’s Club and the Wildhaven Garden Club.
Mrs. Cameron was preceded in death by her parents, Comilla and Lloyd Crawford; and husband of 53 years, Thomas Lee Cameron.
She is survived by her daughters, LeAnne (Tommy) Dowling, and Kristy (Mike) Hanks; grandchildren, Whitney (fiancée, Winn Raughley), Thomas and Cameron Dowling; special mom, Helen White Crawford; and numerous special cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be sons-in-law and grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Gadsden Baptist Church.
Mom would like to thank all of her Wildhaven friends, church friends, and residents and staff of Regency Pointe for their love and friendship. We would also like to thank Camilla Hospice; Lisa Irby and Jamie Moore and her precious caregivers, Brenda Patterson, Jane Clayton, Duyen Stokes and Peggy Reeves.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
