Alex Couden

Alexander James Couden, age 40, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 29, 2024. He was born on March 5, 1984 in Columbus, OH to Al and Dyan Couden. Alex graduated from Gahanna-Lincoln High School in 2002 and from the University of Cincinnati College of Business in 2008. He was employed as an analyst with GM Financial in Cincinnati. Alex loved his family and his friends and in turn was loved by so many. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling all over the world. Alex is survived by his parents Al and Dyan; his brother, Brandon (Kate) Couden; nephew, Oscar; niece, Charlotte; grandmother, Nancy Lema; partner, Amy Pool; a large extended family and many friends who will greatly miss him. A Celebration of Life will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230 on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 3-5 PM. A private family service will also be held in his beloved Puerto Rico at a later date.
