Alexander Earl Reisdorf, 38, tragically passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2024. He was born on April 30, 1986, in Columbus, Ohio, to David and Joan (Knueve) Reisdorf, Alex was known for his love of sports, nature, and spending time outdoors.
A proud graduate of Ohio University, Alex worked in construction, where he found fulfillment in using his hands and taking pride in his work. His true joy, however, came from being with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who lovingly called him the "fun uncle."
Alex’s loss is deeply felt by his parents, David and Joan (Knueve) Reisdorf; his siblings, Ben (Lindsey) Reisdorf, Elizabeth (Jacob) Kring, and Joey (Sarah) Hebdo; nieces and nephews, Haddie and Brooks Reisdorf, Lilah and Jackson Kring, and Jetta and Piper Hebdo, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arnold and Norma Knueve, and his paternal grandparents, Earl Reisdorf and Doris (Carl) Reisdorf Mory.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Monday, January 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
