In all the languages in the world, there are not enough words created to describe the person that Andrew was.
Andrew Lee Beehler was born on 11/05/1994 in Toledo, Ohio. He was tragically taken from us on 02/05/2023. Currently living in Mount Vernon, Ohio, he was 28 years young.
Andrew adored working at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium as a Ranger II, was a natural, gentle leader, and was always committed to helping others. Andrew was an animal lover at heart and if he could rescue every animal he would. Andrew also loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hiking with his wife every chance they got. He was a protector, which was evident by his great big bear hugs.
Andrew loved everything Disney and enjoyed traveling with his wife to Disney World whenever they could, they had plans to travel there this month. Andrew combined his love of Disney and running last year when he ran in his first Run Disney event. He was planning to run all four races (5K, 10K, half, and full marathon) in 2024.
Andrew graduated high school in 2013 from Gahanna Lincoln High School. In his freshman year he met the love of his life Rachel, his wife and the mother of his unborn daughter. It took him four years to convince Rachel they should date, and they have been inseparable ever since.
He is proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother Barbara (Thames) Vaughan, grandfather Charles Vaughan, and his maternal grandfather A. Lee Thames.
He is survived by his wife Rachel Leigh (Cox) Beehler, unborn daughter (Baby Beehler) due in May, mother and father Jennifer Lee (Thames) Beehler and Timothy Andrew Beehler, brother Matthew Jacob Beehler, paternal grandparents, Diane (Timmers) Beehler and Douglas Beehler. He is also survived by mother and father-in-law Jody (Andrist) Cox and David Cox, and brothers-in-law Alex and Eric Cox.
Andrew will be greatly missed by his two cats that he adored, Aaron Purr and JJ – Jungle Jack. He is also survived by a large, supportive, and loving family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends, and co-workers.
If Andrew could share one piece of advice with those mourning his loss, it would come from his favorite Disney ride Carousel of Progress:
“There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day. There’s a great big, beautiful tomorrow and tomorrow’s just a dream away.”
