Andrew Michael Burik

He was born on February 16, 1995, in Gahanna, Ohio, to Lesley and Michael Burik. A lover of beauty and structure, Andrew earned his Master of Architecture from The Ohio State University. He brought his passion for historical preservation and design to his role as Project Manager at Rhythm Architecture. Andrew was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved hiking and exploring nature. He was a dedicated runner and a passionate learner of cultures and languages.

Andrew was preceded in death by his beloved brother Jason Randall Johnson and grandparents Edward Francis Burik, Margaret Ann Burik, and Frank Swearingen.

He is survived by his wife and soulmate Yiting Wang and their beloved dog daughter Nanuk; parents Lesley Ann Burik and Michael Edward Burik; parents-in-law Jin Sun and Yunping Wang; sister Andrea E. Sarver; grandparents Sharon Overman and Ken Overman; nephew Kyle; extended family Linda, Tom, Christine and Paul; numerous cousins, family members, cherished friends and colleagues across the United States, China, and around the world.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the World Wildlife Fund, Kaleidoscope Youth Center, or the National Park Foundation.
