Arleen A Stuck

Arleen Stuck joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on October 18, 2022. Born June 26, 1943, her life-long faith was formed and supported by her parents, Walter and Louise Meyer, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church (Columbus), Christ Lutheran Church (Bexley), and many friends and relatives. Arleen served 50 wonderful years in education. After graduating from Capital University, she taught first and second grade in Columbus City Schools until becoming involved with the Reading Recovery Program that enabled struggling readers to become proficient readers. She retired from Columbus Public Schools as supervisor of Federal and State Programs and continued as a consultant for the Ohio Department of Education while also teaching at Capital University and Otterbein University. Arleen enjoyed traveling the world, fishing with Herman, book groups with friends, and cooking parties for family and friends and enjoying the company of her Ragdoll cats. Arleen is survived by her husband, Jonathan Stuck, brother, Dwight (Barbara) and niece Jennifer (Andrew, Hannah, and Hazel) and many cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 29, at Christ Lutheran Church, 2314 E Main St, Bexley OH 43209.
