

Curtis and Gail Lewis, beloved husband and wife, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories. Gail, 75, passed away on October 19, 2024, and Curtis, 78, followed on November 4, 2024. They are survived by their two sons, Shannon (Lisa) Lewis and Thomas Lewis (Cassee), and their grandchildren Kylie Lewis, Ruby Lewis, and Jared Lewis, all of whom they adored. Known lovingly as Papaw and Granny, Curtis and Gail found great joy in attending their grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities, always supporting and cheering them on.
Gail Lewis was born in Oil Springs, Kentucky, to the late Jeff and Lennie (Cantrell) Colvin. She was preceded in death by her siblings Billy, Opal, Ken, and Lowell, and is survived by her brother Jimmy. Gail devoted 30 years of her life to the students of Columbus City Schools, where she worked with dedication and compassion.
Curtis Lewis was born in Elliott County, Kentucky, to the late Clyde and Cleffie (Moore) Lewis. He was preceded in death by his sisters Loretta and Wanda, and is survived by his sister Lorene. For 40 years, Curtis was a proud member of the Local 200 Carpenter's Union,
A visitation will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm, at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home where family, friends, and loved ones will come together to honor and remember Curtis and Gail Lewis. Immediately following the service, the family invites guests for food and fellowship from 1:00pm-3:30pm. at The Goat 6400 Preserve Crossing Blvd. Columbus, OH 43230.
