Danny Susi

Born in 1960 and raised in Columbus, Danny was a proud graduate of Brookhaven High School.

He went on to build a successful career as both a mason and a master mechanic. Over the years, he founded several mechanic businesses and later retired from Byers Auto.

Affectionately known as “Dan’o,” Danny had a deep love for life and sports. He was a lifelong fan of the Oakland Raiders and THE Ohio State Buckeyes.

Danny is survived by his beloved mother, Janet Susi; his loving daughter, Sherry; son-in-love, Terry; and his cherished granddaughter, Briella. He also leaves behind his siblings: David, Donny (Dewanda), Michelle, Tony, and Michael (Angela); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his forever love, Rita.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Morgan.

Danny will be remembered for his big heart, spirited personality, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. All are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
