David Craig Cox

Dave’s life was marked by his love of his family, dedication to his career and those around him and a passion for all things of nature and fishing. He had a profound impact on all who knew him. He was a proud graduate of Bowling Green State University, and a well respected leader throughout his career, and was a valued mentor and supporter of his team members. He was a devoted husband to his wife Jody for 42 years of life and love and happiness. Dave was a proud father to Alex, Rachel and Eric, and taught his children many things including the importance of family, fishing and Cleveland sports. Spending time with his granddaughter, Andrea, was one of his greatest joys and he cherished every moment he got to spend with her. Dave was admired by many for his leadership qualities and his ability to always support those he cared about around him.

Dave is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jody Cox (Andrist), his children, Alex Cox, Rachel Beehler (Cox), and Eric Cox. Dave is also survived by his siblings Larry Cox (Gretchen Cox) , Wendy Cox Harrison, Geoff Cox (Janet Cox).

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Peace Lutheran Church 455 Clark State Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230 from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A service will follow beginning at 2:00pm.
