

Born on October 7, 1941, to the late Nolan and Ruth Arledge, Don lived a life centered on family and the simple joys that mattered most. His quiet strength and steady presence brought comfort to those around him. He will be most remembered for his unwavering devotion and love toward his family, who meant everything to him.
Family was the center of Don's world, his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother always putting the needs of his loved ones before his own. Whether it was a simple family dinner or a holiday gathering, he found happiness in the moments shared with those he loved most.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Arledge; children Christine Fraser, Pamela Banks, Scott (Mari) Arledge, and Melissa Arledge; grandchildren Sydney Fraser, Emilee Fraser, Sandra Banks, Brittany Arledge, and Alex Arledge; and great-grandson Ronan Arledge-Flores. Don is also survived by his sisters Carolyn (Patrick) O’Shea and their daughter Shannon O’Shea, and sister Donna Arledge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Ruth Arledge, and his brother, Larry Arledge.
Family and friends may gather for visitation on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast (1051 E Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, OH 43230), where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Stonybrook Church (485 Cherry Bottom Rd. Gahanna, OH 43230).
