Felix Leslie Thacker

Felix L. Thacker Jr, 70, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. He is survived by his soulmate and best friend of 52 years, Laura Thacker; Children, Dale (Donna) Thacker, Robert (Fanny) Thacker & Gina (Denis) Leanos; Grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony, Austin, Marissa, Joseph, Erin, Giuliana & Jaxon; Great-Grandchildren, Alaina, Sawyer, Elizabeth, Aviana & Aubriella.

Felix was born on February 25, 1952 to Felix L. Thacker Sr. and Annabel B. Thacker in Columbus, Ohio.

Felix worked for Byers Chrysler Jeep for over 30 years. He enjoyed and spent his time with his family. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He loved to golf, fish, hunt, to do crossword puzzles, board games and he loved to color. Felix was most passionate about drag racing and quarter midget racing. He enjoyed being a football and baseball coach to his sons, Dale and Bobby when they were younger, watching his daughter, Gina cheerlead on the sideline as he coached.

Felix was predeceased by his parents, Felix L. Thacker Sr. and Annabel B. Thacker. In addition to his partner, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, Felix is survived by his sisters; Diana (Eric) Martin, Nancy (Steve) Knight, Leslie Swindler; Brother, Brice Thacker; Nieces Melissa, Kathryn, Katrina, Alisha, Abby, Taylor, Addalynn, and Kellee; and nephews Blake, Connor and Brayden.

The Thacker family will receive guests on Tuesday, March 15 from 11am-1pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Road in Gahanna. Felix's funeral service will be held immediately following at 1pm with a procession to Mifflin Township Cemetery to conclude services.

Felix's family kindly requests that all guests, regardless of vaccination status, wear a facemask while attending calling hours, the funeral service, or the graveside service. While local regulations may not currently require masks, family has chosen to enforce this to keep all guests as safe as possible.
