Georgia W Neville

Georgia Neville, age 92, of New Albany, Ohio, passed away on February 10, 2023 due to complications from a fall. Georgia was born on Easter Sunday 1930 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Simon and Mary Washburn. Georgia spent her career with The Bell System, ultimately as special projects supervisor with Southern Bell. After leaving the workforce, Georgia spent five decades serving the parishes and communities to which she belonged, including as President of the Pensacola Hunter Jumper Association, Director of Volunteers at West Florida Hospital, Board Member of the Baptist Hospital Healthcare Foundation and President of the Cobblestone Condominium Association. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill Neville, her brother Ben Washburn and daughter Jacqueline Neville.

Georgia is survived by her son Bill (Susan) Neville Jr., granddaughters Lauren and Kendall Neville, nephew Ben (Beverly) Washburn Jr. and niece Susan (Mark) Markuson. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 18 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 5101 Johnstown Road, New Albany.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church.
