Gregory “Greg” Alan Williams, 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by love on December 2, 2022, after losing his 5-year battle with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s disease. Greg was born in Lancaster, OH to Richard and Audrey Williams on October 1, 1955. He spent his childhood in Circleville, OH.
He was preceded in death by his beloved pet Dusty; his father; and grandparents. He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Patty; mother, Audrey Faigley; sister, Lisa (Williams) LeFevre; brother-in-law, Scott LeFevre; brother, Jeff Williams; daughter Stacey (Williams) Lowe; son-in-law, Kyle Lowe; son Brett Williams; daughter-in-law, Nicole; step-sons Nick Hetterscheidt and Jason Hetterscheidt; step-daughter-in-law, Skye Hetterscheidt; grandchildren, Mallory, Claire, Campbell, Colin, Rylee, Caitlin, and Emily; brothers-in-law, Mike Duffey and Jere (Sally) Duffey; nephews, Joel (Allie) Williams and Tyler (Amber) Lefever; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Greg was adored by all who knew him. He would always tell a joke, make a funny face, or make a funny noise to make everyone laugh. He always did absolutely anything for his family and friends. He loved to watch the grandkids play sports, but most of all he loved the game of golf and was infamous for hitting from his knees better than most do from their feet.
Greg’s family would like to express their gratitude to Pastor David Hoffman, Sunrise of Gahanna, and ProMedica Hospice for their amazing care and support.
A Memorial Service will be held at Stonybrook United Methodist Church, 485 Cherry Bottom Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 on December 28, 2022, at 11am. Please feel free to dress casual.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Greg’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Ohio Fuzzy Pawz Shih Tzu Rescue.
