Hubert dedicated more than 20 years to Chase Bank (formerly Bank One), most recently serving as Vice President in Business Resiliency. He also proudly served as a Special Deputy for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office since 1990. He loved his work and considered his coworkers extended family.
Beyond his professional life, Hubert was an avid football fan who loved the outdoors, animals, and especially his dogs. He enjoyed traveling, attending festivals, and visiting the Smoky Mountains with his girlfriend. He was also a member of the North American Pipe Collectors Association.
Hubert is survived by his mother, Nancy Ann Dixon; significant other, Julie Fleischer; his cousins, Tony Midkiff, Melissa Mohney and Cindy Gerhan; aunt, Alma Midkiff; and many extended family members including nieces, cousins, and those who were “grafted in by love, not blood”- he will be deeply missed by Sean & Jamie Blair, Linda Bright, Sheri & Craig Criswell, the Chase Bank family, and his colleagues at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warner Midkiff; stepfather, Glen Dixon; sister, Ethel Ann Green; and his beloved dog, Hairy.
