Born in Wooster, Ohio to parents Charles and Lorna McClintock (née Hoare) on September 20, 1956.. Jon is survived by his brother Mark, his wife Heather, children Nichole, Alexander and Andrew, and his nephews Nicolas and Thomas.
After graduating from high school in Wooster, Jon worked a number of different jobs before focusing on programming and taking a position at Otterbein University. Jon worked at Otterbein University holding different positions within the IT department for over three decades, before retiring in 2021.
Jon was an avid reader, who enjoyed games, camping, gardening and spending time with family. Jon was loved and will be greatly missed.
