Jon was always a great guy. Im sorry to hear of his passing. He was a friend in deed. Heaven has gained an angel. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of a saint. 

Sorry to hear about Jon! My name is Larry Goad and Jon was one my close friends in high scool as well as a distant  cousin.  He was always a gentle soul and made friends easily. We had a lot of fun on Friday and Saturday nights  chasing girls and racing cars.  You could say that his loss on Earth is Heaven's gain.

I am sorry to learn of John's passing.  We worked together at AEP,  and I enjoyed having him as a colleague.

Our families have shared so many wonderful memories together watching our kids grow up.. Jon cooking on the barbecue in your back yard,   St Louis graduation, Salt lake wedding, Leslie’s wedding and the infamous travel all day  then sit up most of the night tiring bows for our family wedding. He was  a hard worker and always there to lend a hand. .Jon will be in our hearts and remembered as a true friend. 

I'm so sorry to hear this! I well remember some of the antics that John and Greg did! He was a kind, genuine man and love his wife and children!

Vicki I’m very sad to hear of Jon’s passing. Knowing you and how selfless you are, Jon felt your love and caring through his health struggles. I wish peace for you at this time. Rest in peace old friend. This former classmate says you could ALWAYS make me laugh. 

Jon was my best friend when we were in high school.  We shared everything as only boys that age can.  Our parents were also best friends.  So many memories, like listening to the Temptations on vinyl into the wee hours of the morning.  You will be missed my friend.  Rest in peace.  My condolences to the family.

Jon and his family were a second family to mine, especially my daughters. Jon and Vicki cared for them when they were pre-school aged. It made us so happy to know they were loved so much by the Waugh’s. Rest In Peace Jon. 

I enjoyed knowing Jon in the late 80s at 
CSP or was it CSOE at that time.  Always had a smile on his face especially when talking about his house and clearing of the land.   Nice enjoyable fellow     Glad to hear he got out of accounting.   To stifling for him

What a great pic of our fellow Saturday Afternoon Buckeye Homie. My story is long but Jon deserves it. For the last 3 years during football season Jon, my son and Jon’s son in law Ian, my brother Ken, and myself Tom Andrews would get together most often at my condo to cheer on the Buckeyes. Jon would text me every Saturday asking if he needed to bring anything. My answer was always the same, “Just yourself, a smile, and whatever you are drinking.” But he would never listen. He always walked in with something to eat from chips and dip to pies and cookies. The conversation was always great and ranged from home remodeling to politics to collector cars to our childhood adventures and anything else under the sun. We all soon learned that Jon not only had a gift of gab, he also had another very special gift. This unique and very funny gift was known only to us, the Buckeye Homies. One Saturday the Buckeyes were in a nip and tuck game. Sometimes winning and sometimes losing to a team they should’ve been walloping. It wasn’t their day but Jon helped them bring home a victory for the fans! How?  The Buckeyes were in a bad way and needed a small miracle to turn things around. At this point Jon needed to take a restroom break. While there the game turned completely in favor of the Buckeyes . When he came back he asked what all the whooping and hollering was about. When we told him, we were all treated to that Jon Waugh smile. Later in the game, the Buckeyes were in trouble again.  And again Jon answered his calling to the restroom. And it was the SAME RESULT! Jon came running back to see the Buckeyes had won the game in his absence. From that point forward,  when the Buckeyes needed some supernatural intervention, we ASKED Jon to go to the restroom. Like the great Buckeye fan he was, he complied. And more often than not IT WORKED! It was too funny.  We will all miss our PaPa, Father in Law, Dad, Husband, and our Great Friend. God rest your soul Jon until we meet again!

Waugh family we love you. I think of all the great pool parties we had just hanging out and laughing. 

That is such a great picture of Jon. He was a great man who loved his family so much. We will always treasure our wonderful memories  of good times with our New  Albany friends . We love you Jon. We will miss you but we will  never forget our friendship and watching our children grow up together. You will always be in our heart.  Love the Sicilian  family. XOXO 😘
