

He graduated from Thomas Worthington in 2023, and went to work with Worthington Enterprises. Jonathan was known for his adventurous heart—whether traveling to new places or immersing himself in the worlds of his favorite games.
Jonathan is survived by so many loving family; his father, Timothy Jay Adkins (Heather Davis, stepmother), Mother, Samantha Lynn (Hummel) McMillan (Danny Farmer, fiancé), He was a proud brother to Gavin DePaul, Jacob Appleton, Joshua Appleton, Joanna Hummel, Jace McMillan, D.J. Farmer, Levi Farmer, and Natasha Farmer. He will be forever remembered by his grandparents: Darlene Kirk, Leslie Adams, Linda Kirk, Don Parsons, Gene Kirk, Phillip McWilliams Sr., Melissa (Sanborn) Hummel, Dennis Hummel, and Marlene Hummel. Jonathan’s life was also blessed with the love of many aunts and uncles, including Kimberly McWilliams, Phillip McWilliams Jr., Nicholas McWilliams, Joshua Portier, Ashley McWilliams, Brandon McWilliams, Debbie Sampson, Brenda Griggs, Jesse Griggs, Sherry Adkins, Allen Adkins, Danny Adkins, Randall (Scott) Wolford, Robert Wolford, Tabitha Jones-Stiers, Caitlyn Boehm, and Kevin Bowles.
Jonathan will be reunited with his grandpa John Davidson and uncle Richard Kirk who preceded him in passing.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jonathan’s life on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at Schrodinger Northeast, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio Followed by a service on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, beginning at 9am. Services will conclude with an internment at Mifflin cemetery, 155 Olde Ridenour Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
Though his time with us was far too short, Jonathan will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. His light will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends.
