Lawrence E. Lepper, 76, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Columbus. He was born on June 25, 1949, at St. Bernardine’s Hospital in San Bernardino, California, to Chester Lepper and Katherine McMaines.
Larry was a proud graduate of San Bernardino High School and spent over 30 years working in the construction industry. Known for his sincerity, integrity, and strong work ethic, Larry was deeply passionate about the things he loved — whether it was his craft, his conversations about family history, or his lifelong loyalty to the LA Dodgers.
He loved sharing stories, visiting with family, and reflecting on the past — something that brought his loved ones closer together and kept their family history alive.
In his free time, Larry enjoyed baseball, antiques, and spending time with those he cared about most. One of his favorite memories was antiquing with his family, a pastime that combined his love of history and family connection.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Melissa Moore and Katherine White; grandchildren, Thomas Moore, Matthew Moore, Jasmyn Wilburn, Mariah White, and Jack White III; and great-grandchildren, Jaylon White, Amira White, Lila Cole, X’alo Wilburn, and Janiya White.
He is also survived by his sisters, Sandra Castillo, Patricia Peck, and Darlene Mandelke, as well as many nieces and nephews. Larry also leaves behind three beloved “grand-dogs” — Mochi, Joy, and Domino, who brought him great comfort and joy.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
Those who knew Larry will remember his big heart and his love of family.
