Marian Louise Hawkins of Columbus, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2024. Marian was born on January 31, 1927 in Chillicothe Ohio. She retired from the Defense Supply Center Columbus as a
procurement analyst. Marian was a member of the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and various indoor recreational activities. Marian was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Cohen; brothers, Raleigh L. Stepter Jr and Ronald Logan Stepter. Marian was a much loved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She leaves behind her beloved children, Saundra L. Fields, and Wyman R. Hawkins II; three grandchildren, Lawana Fields Kiesha (Devon) Ratliff and Tiffany Solomon;
great- grandchildren, Michello Odom, Sydni Ratliff and Stacey Solomon; great-great grandchildren, Xavier Odom, Jaylen Odom, and Quincey Odom. A host of cousins, other relatives and friends. In this time of grief and reflection, let us remember Marian with gratitude for all she accomplished and cherish the impact she made. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing to us all.
